AIMA Singapore Fund Manager Briefing: MAS’ Expectations for Fund Managers’ Anti-Money Laundering Controls

Singapore In-person

AIMA Singapore invites you to our in-person lunch fund manager briefing on 3 July 2024.

In this session, Integrity Consulting will share valuable insights and practical advice to ensure your anti-money laundering ("AML") controls are robust and aligned with regulatory expectations.

AML, counter-financing of terrorism, and nuclear proliferation are core to the Financial Action Task Force's ("FATF") agenda. AML regulation, supervision, and enforcement are perennial focuses for the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS"). Ahead of Singapore’s FATF mutual evaluation in 2025, and following recent significant money laundering cases, this session will cover:
  • Improvements that fund managers need in their AML controls to meet MAS expectations
  • Common weak spots among sub-managers
  • When to rely on fund administrators to discharge AML controls

Host:
  • Lee Kwang Teo, Director, Head of Singapore, AIMA
Speakers:
  • Sinyee Koh, Director, Integrity Consulting

The session is fully book. If you meet the requirements and would like to find out more, kindly email us here

Please note that there may be limits on attendees per firm. This session is open to fund managers and allocators only.
