During the past few months, several EU legislative measures related to sustainable finance have been adopted, or are entering the final rounds of negotiation, including a regulation on disclosures of sustainability risks and sustainable investments, a regulation establishing climate-related benchmarks, a taxonomy aiming at facilitating sustainable investments, as well as, at level 2, requirements regarding clients’ suitability tests under the MiFID framework and a technical advice from ESMA on the integration of sustainability risks and factors in the AIFMD and UCITS directive.
