AIMA is delighted to invite members to an in-person gathering of the alternative investment industry in Italy for a networking reception and conversation around current market and regulatory developments impacting the industry.

The briefing will include an update on key strands of AIMA's work in the EU and current developments in the context of the recent Savings & Investments Union (SIU) Strategy by the European Commission. In particular, we will outline AIMA’s efforts at contributing to the current overarching themes of increasing European competitiveness and simplification.

We will also take stock of the latest developments in taxation impacting on investment, and specifically the discussions on permanent establishment rules in Italy.
