This half-day, virtual CPD-accredited course offers Hedge Fund participants comprehensive instruction on the fundamentals of MiFIR transaction reporting specifically: 

• Overview of MiFIR transaction reporting requirements for hedge funds

• Purpose of MiFIR transaction reporting

• MiFIR reportable instruments: use of ESMA and FCA FIRDS 

• Understanding key fields in MiFIR transaction reporting

• MiFIR reporting fundamentals incl. identifying counterparties, INTC convention and block vs fill

• How to avoid common errors, challenges and pitfalls

• What constitutes a good MiFID II reconciliation and reconciliation process options

• Errors and omissions: when and how to complete

• Governance and oversight best practices

 Ideal for new starters or those looking for MiFIR refresher training.

This course is equivalent to four CPD hours.

Standard members' rate: £500 + VAT

Standard non-members' rate: £575 + VAT

Cancellations and refunds

Any cancellation must be made in writing. For any cancellation received 15-30 days prior to the course start date, 50% of the course fee is still payable. No refund is given for a cancellation made 14 days or less prior to the commencement of a course. Transferring from one course to another is treated as a cancellation. You can substitute one delegate for another at no additional cost. In this instance, please give two business days’ notice.
