The Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) will host its 4^th Wealth Management Summit on 8^th October 2019 (Tuesday). This flagship event continues to bring together senior executives, thought leaders, government officials and regulators, with the mission to create a platform for practitioners to connect, exchange ideas and to explore new opportunities in the wealth management industry.

With the theme “Shaping the Future”, this year's summit will look at the major trends that shape the industry for years to come.

The announcement of the Greater Bay Area plan helps expand Hong Kong’s coverage and promote new growth opportunities as the GBA will attract talents, new businesses and new wealth to the region. In addition to bringing improvement in operational efficiency, the continuous advancement of Fintech and digital transformation will also rapidly change the way banking services are delivered; the granting of virtual banking licenses early this year is one of the examples. The industry therefore needs to explore ways to effectively combine digital technology and human touch to bring the best experiences to clients. Through thought-provoking discussions and presentations, the speakers will discuss the emerging opportunities and chart a path for the private wealth management industry’s growth.

The summit provides a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discover trends and network with professionals across the private wealth management industry.
