The latest annual AIMA APAC Annual Forum, held on 19 January 2017 in Hong Kong, drew a record audience of around 450 people and featured sessions on cyber security, fintech, alignment-of-interest, activism, media relations and brand-building, private debt, China (inbound and outbound) and Japan. Our first educational paper of the year – a joint report with EY about what it takes to be a successful alternative investment fund manager – received its unveiling. The Regulators’ Roundtable was a big draw.
