Leveraging Data Science to digitise investment workflows and maximise the value and insights derived from data a manager already has. Unlike the middle-back office, which has long targeted STP, the alpha generating side of investment firms (the Front Office) is often supported by clunky processes, disparate datasets and siloed workflows.

Through investments in new technology, managers can digitise much of the process and practice discipline, which offers repeatable results, continuous improvement and a clear message to investors and prospective clients. New technologies also include behavioral analytics that attribute performance derived from skill versus that of luck. Self-reflection and analysing a manager’s most unique dataset (their own trading history) has the potential to expose habits and tendencies that contribute to performance and well as those that are destructive.
