Acorns of APAC
Acorns of APAC is an AIMA outreach targeted towards emerging managers in the region. Following the success from 2018, each year we aim to organise this series and Acorns of APAC Hong Kong will be held on 7 November 2019. This is a complimentary event.
This forum is open to both AIMA and non-AIMA members, and is meant for managers that are new to the industry (defined as less than 1 year), looking to start a fund, or are still in the early stages of raising assets (with AUM < US$200m).
This event is part of AIMA’s initiative to support the growth of the fund management industry in Hong Kong and the region, and we have designed the forum to cover important considerations new managers may have. Such topics include the legal toolkit required for starting up a fund, working with service providers, and fund raising.
The forum will also provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with each other and the AIMA membership.
