Platforms come in many forms and with a variation of features. Investment managers at different stages of their development may be thinking of participating in a platform for a number of reasons. The Guide is designed to give investment managers insight into the types of platforms available in broad terms and the reasons why investment managers might choose one platform or another. The Guide also discusses a number of key issues investment managers will want to consider as a matter of sound practice when deciding whether and how to use a platform, including, service offerings, infrastructure, interactions with service providers, ownership rights, capital raising, due diligence/onboarding and contractual arrangements.

Listen to a panel of industry experts give their perspectives on these themes and the regulatory environment for platforms and platform participants.
