UK VAT on Asset Management Businesses
Overview:
AIMA and the ACC argue that the government should resolve the VAT treatment of funds and fund management services and take steps to ensure that the UK asset management sector remains as competitive as possible in the light of any regulatory or tax changes.
Upcoming actions:
HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs are intending to issue a consultation on UK VAT on asset management business in due course.
