On May 19th the ACC submitted a letter to the French Presidency. Highlighting key concerns and opportunities for EU loan funds within the legislative changes to AIFMD. The ACC stresses the importance of ensuring interventions are strictly necessary, targeted, and proportionate, as well as support for raising the leverage limit, and a considered approach towards loan origination activity. Alongside the review’s comments, the ACC has also suggested amendments which can be found in the letter’s annex.
