The Alternative Investment Management Association Limited (AIMA) and the Alternative Credit Council (ACC) have responded to European Banking Authority discussion paper on significant risk transfer (SRT) in securitisation. This response highlighted how any proposals to reform regulatory and supervisory practices around SRT should also consider the perspective of investors in securitisations. This will ensure that any SRT reforms promote a healthy market for securitisation and contribute towards efficient capital markets. If you have any questions please contact Nicholas Smith
