AIMA response to FCA call for input on smarter regulatory reporting

AIMA has filed a response to the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s call for input regarding smarter regulatory reporting, in which the FCA was looking for feedback on a ‘proof of concept’” which could make regulatory reporting requirements machine-readable and executable.
AIMA welcomes this initiative and has put forward a few thoughts in relation to the possible ways to improve current regulatory reporting and ensure that costs and benefits considerations are duly taken into account before developing and deploying any new tool.
