Call for volunteers - Omnibus Directive and Regulation on cross-border distribution of investment funds

Published: 16 March 2018

This is a call for volunteers to form a 15-20 person group to develop a position paper in relation to the proposed Omnibus Directive and Regulation on cross-border distribution of investment funds.

The Asset Management Regulation team is seeking volunteers to form a small group (20 people max) of active participants to assist with the production of an AIMA position paper in relation to the proposed Omnibus Directive and Regulation on cross-border distribution of investment funds.

We will seek to select a group representing diverse perspectives from among the volunteers.  This group will be particularly active over the course of April as the position paper is developed.

Please register your interest in participating in this group by emailing Jennifer Wood no later than the close of business on Thursday, 29 March as the group will be selected shortly thereafter so work may begin in early April.

The draft produced will also be circulated to relevant working groups and committees for review and comment in due course, meaning that members may still get to see the draft in advance of it being published in final form even if they are not chosen to participate on this group.  Members are of course also welcome to send Jennifer their feedback on the Omnibus proposals, preferably before mid-April.
