The Commission launched a consultation on the EU framework for public reporting (accounting and financial reporting) aiming at assessing the appropriateness and relevance of the current requirements. It also addresses some of the suggestions made as a result of the High Level Expert Group on sustainable finance (including on non-financial disclosures). Companies covered by this consultation include non-listed and listed companies, banks and insurance firms. The questionnaire also addresses digitalisation and electronic answers to facilitate reporting.  The consultation runs until 21 July, the questionnaire can be found here.
