Founded in 1990, the Association represents the global alternative investment community and provides a centre of knowledge for professional investment practitioners, policy makers and their advisors, regulatory & tax authorities, institutional investors and the media.

AIMA's members represent over 75% of global hedge fund assets and over 70% of global fund of funds assets. We have 1,280 corporate members in 49 countries.
