The European Commission has launched a public consultation seeking feedback on the impact of fintech on the financial industry. The consultation covers a wide range of topics but among these are a few interesting ones, including:

* Risk management and oversight in relation to automated financial advice and execution

* Cybersecurity requirements

* Transparency in relations to fintechs and non-bank financing

* Potential current regulatory obstacles to the use of distributed ledger technology (DLT) in financial services
