On June 11,  2025, the SEC and CFTC voted to extend the compliance date from June 12 to October 1, 2025.  The SEC commissioners in the majority also expressed their intention to further review the data being collected on Form PF to make sure the Form is only asking for that information which is necessary for its systemic risk monitoring objective, which gives AIMA a window to continue to engage with the SEC on ideas about what data truly is necessary to monitor for systemic risk and what data is not.  Following our recent advocacy, this outcome is welcome.  Please contact Jennifer Wood ([email protected]) if there are any questions.
